Hugh Dancy and Catalina Sandino Moreno for Gap

Hugh Dancy: “Make up your own philosophy”

Swedish lensman Mikael Jansson shot Gap’s fall 2008
ad campaign with actor Joseph Fiennes, Englishman Hugh Dancy, and Academy Award nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno as his subjects.

This year’s theme is “Create Your Own Gap” and each picture is accompanied by a fill-in-the-blank tagline. Actor Hugh Dancy, philosopher Jonathan Dancy's son, wrote “Make up your own philosophy”; Joseph Fiennes, a staunch philanthropist involved with several charities, jotted down “Craft your own calling,” while Colombian actress Catalina Sandino Moreno scribbled “Invent your own rules.”

Sandino Moreno has two new films slated for release next year: Steven Soderbergh's The Argentine and Guerrilla. Both are biopics of Che Guevara—Marxist revolutionary, military strategist, and guerrilla leader.

Sandino Moreno wrote “Invent your own rules,” she wasn’t kidding at all.

I think it has something to do with the peso-dollar exchange rate. You're right though, mura nga lang Gap sa States. Gap is one of the more affordable brands there, like Guess and Banana Republic. Pero pag dating dito sa Pilipinas, mejo high end ang dating nila.

I love Gap ads. I rip them from magazines and collect them. :-)

Hugh Dancy looks younger in this photo. Have you seen him sa Savage Grace with Julianne Moore?

Yeah, Gap ads rock! :-)

I'm very curious about Hugh Dancy; haven't seen any of his films.

How was Savage Grace? Is Hugh Dancy a good actor? He's not like Keanu Reeves is he? Hehe.

saka mura sila

lahat ng pasalubong ko sa mga pamangkin ko puro gap, eh

Yeah, Gap is very affordable in the States. The V-neck top Catalina Sandino Moreno is wearing is only $44 while Hugh Dancy's cord blazer is priced at an affordable $88. Winner! :-)

@ Andy re Hugh Dancy: I don't really know what to say about his acting because I forgot this other film I saw him in. Plus what he just basically did in Savage Grace was fuck Julianne Moore and his son, or something like that, meaning its a small role I think. Oh but don't expect anything graphic. I dunno what to make of Savage though, I guess it's ok, I haven't read the reviews but it says its based on a true story. The story can be pretty intriguing though, but again Julianne Moore could do no wrong.

Savage Grace got bad reviews though, hehe; Hugh Dancy's role seems okay. I hope he didn't screw it up. No pun intended. :-)
